Enjoy a better experience

The new Platform introduces several improvements to the overall experience, including interface updates and new options for existing functionalities. These changes are designed to help you work more efficiently and make the most of the Platform, which is now easier and more intuitive to use.

Along with these changes, we’ve also made a number of improvements behind the scenes to make the Platform more reliable, faster and secure.

You will also notice that the Platform is now keyboard-friendly, and you can enjoy smoother navigation without reaching for the mouse.

The Platform is built with the newest technology and is future-proof, so we can ship new features more reliably going forward. The goal is to make everyday tasks simpler and give you more flexibility.

What’s been improved?

Here are some of the main improvements you can expect:

• Form Builder: What you see is what you get. Fields are grouped and searchable, while you have a bigger editing view and easier access to edit each of the fields' properties.
• Subforms: A new tab has been added so you can see exactly where a Subform is used across your forms. One consistent way of working with subforms that makes it easier to reuse them.
• Error handling: There is live error checking as you build the form, with clearer explanations. Navigate faster between errors thanks to the red highlights that point straight to the problem.
• Rules: You can now rename rules without needing to expand them. Also, you have the possibility to reorder them easily. No more accidentally empty rules!
• Folders: Navigate easily between folders without the need to expand them. Get faster inline editing of titles and descriptions. Now, the "Visible in App" setting is easier to find (handy for work-in-progress forms or task-only forms).
• Forms overview: The forms overview gets clearer since icons and themes are visible directly in the list. You can now see the status and last-updated information in one place. It is easier to filter submissions, and you can find a summary shown right in the table. What’s more: You can select more than one submission to delete or resend them!
• Tasks: A new feature has been added to schedule a task to be sent on a specific date. It is also now possible to add a location to your tasks for better time management of your users. There are more field types supported when pre-filling tasks, and you can even pre-fill using variables!
• Settings: The whole layout for the settings page has changed, and it is reorganised into clearer categories. You can now change your password from the Platform. Billing usage is faster to load and clearer, now including an option to see the usage per billing period.
• Data sources: There is a cleaner design and overview, with type and status shown up front. Also, warnings and offline-access status are visible immediately.
• User management: The screens for users, groups and roles are clearer now. Each user will have an avatar based on first and last name. You can invite multiple users at once, with groups and roles assigned in one step.
• Global search: Easily find forms, users or data sources by simply writing down the term in the bar at the top of the screen.
• Switching accounts: It is now much clearer which account you are logged in to. Switching between customers is easier and more visible.

What does this mean for you?

Starting now, the new MoreApp Platform is the default experience when you log in. Instead of landing on the version you are used to, you will automatically open the redesigned Platform.

• All your forms, submissions, folders, and settings are the same.
• Nothing has been moved or deleted. Only the interface and workflow around them have changed.
• You may need a short adjustment period as menus, buttons, and screens are laid out differently.

We recommend taking some time to explore the updated experience and get familiarised with the new features.

How to switch back to the old Platform?

The old Platform remains available if you need it; it's not going away yet. You can switch back whenever you like, for example, while your team gets used to the new layout, or if you run into something that isn't working the way you expect yet.

In case you need to go back to the previous version:

1. Click on the Help icon (?) in the top right corner
2. Select ‘Switch to old Platform’

Or go directly to old.platform.moreapp.com to work with the old layout.
