How to fill out Forms using Voice Dictation | MoreApp

Learn how to fill out MoreApp forms using voice dictation on Android and iOS devices. Read this guide to enable this feature and save time by typing hands-free.

Save even more time filling out forms by using voice dictation. You can simply dictate to your device, and your words will be converted into text, making it easier to complete your forms. Below, we describe how this works on different devices.

Voice dictation on Android

1. Turn on voice typing

Go to the Settings on your Android device, and navigate to System & update. Then, access Keyboard & input method, and go to Manage keyboards.

Select your keyboard and make sure that Voice typing is turned ON.

Note: On most of the devices, voice typing is enabled automatically.

2. Fill out a form

Once voice dictation is activated on your phone, go to MoreApp and open the form you want to fill out.

Select a text field, tap on it, and your keyboard will appear. Click on the microphone icon, and start speaking to your phone. Your spoken message will be converted into text.

You can stop speaking to finalise your message or tap the microphone again.

Voice dictation on iOS

1. Enable dictation

Go to the Settings on your iOS device, and navigate to General. Then, access Keyboard.

Scroll down to the Dictation section, and turn on Enable Dictation. Click Enable Dictation again to confirm.

Note: On most of the devices, dictation is enabled automatically.

2. Fill out a form

Once the voice dictation is activated on your phone, go to MoreApp and open the form you want to fill out.

Select a text field, tap on it, and your keyboard will appear. Click on the microphone icon, and start speaking to your phone. Your spoken message will be converted into text.

When done, click on the microphone icon again.

General tips for voice dictation

  • Make sure you speak clearly and at a moderate pace.

  • It is best to dictate in a quiet place to reduce background noise.

  • Review your text before submitting the form to detect possible mistakes.

  • Say punctuation marks out loud (such as “comma”, “period”, “question mark”).

  • You can dictate in multiple languages by adding them via the Dictation Settings.

  • For security, it is best to type sensitive data (like credit card numbers) manually.

  • If voice dictation is not working, check if the microphone permissions are activated on your device.
